    What is this?

There was a good discussion somewhere about growers in the northeast U.S. getting it outdoors. Leafhoppers can spread Phytoplasma. Just a guess, not something I've dealt with. Wish I could find that thread.

One single wilted dying branch on a healthy looking plant

Whatever it is I'd just cut it off and monitor the plant. Root rot doesn't affect 1 branch like that it would affect the entire plant.

How low of a pH value can weed leaves handle?

I just grabbed this from a google search. How Do Ants Farm Aphids: Controlling Aphids and Ants on Plants (plantcaretoday.com)

How low of a pH value can weed leaves handle?

I only skimmed through this page. If they keep coming back like that it could be ants are bringing them back. Look for any ant activity on or around the plant.

Defending HPS in a LED world

I said synthetic to troll whoever wanted to take the bait, to be honest. I'm quite aware that the s word is what got to you. Not sure why, could be an insecurity or might not be that at all IDK. I guess sharing the differences of the two grows is a no no without adding sugar for the masses. On...

Defending HPS in a LED world

Why do you need to be impressed? Did the bud shown not reflect a finished bud? I like his pics, take a look and see who was 1st to give his pics Love on that thread. You show me a better picture of your example of a finished bud, and I'll give you links to my last two grows so you can enjoy all...

Defending HPS in a LED world

I grow with HID also. I think the 1st time I heard us called dinosaurs it triggered me a bit, not anymore. I don't really care either. My 600w HID organic bud shown on the Pictures of ripe buds | Rollitup thread was liked just as much as BK's LED synthetic bud. Plus the four HID growers crushed...

    Can't figure it out.

At a glance the Pro mix looks really crusty, and I think I see some green algae on top, so 1st thought is way over watered.

If you could only use three amendments...?

My tap is high in Ca and Mg. I cut it in with ro from 400 ppms down to about 200. I find the need for N late in veg. In early veg with a good soil Mg is the only deficiency I ever see but it can vary with strain and root development. When I run into this, I feel there is plenty of Mg in the soil...

If you could only use three amendments...?

It's been 2 years since I posted this. I now find Epsom salt critical to keeping some strains happy in early veg so I'm updating my 3 favorites. 1 Epsom salt. 2 EWC 3 Crab Meal.

    Need some advice

He might be testing it with a 3 in 1 meter. Rain is usually acidic but there are some areas around the world near calcium mines that have alkaline rainwater.

    Mysterious heavy twisted new growth..

Might be thrips, hard to tell with the pic shown, I'm thinking it's spider mites.

Take a look at the leaf circled in the second pic.

Flowering - ALL fans have black tips!? Tf!

I saw the water droplets also and can see where it might look like what we were seeing but if you can zoom in you will see the mite damage also.

Flowering - ALL fans have black tips!? Tf!

A bigger issue looks like a bug problem. Might be spider mites, others will chime in and confirm what it is. I'd inspect the leaves for bugs.
