How do you get buds to look compressed

They look finished to me. Finished or not the calyxes look swollen so I would not expect them to get any denser than they already are. They already went through the swelling. Personally, when it comes to smoking, I prefer fox tailed sativa leaning buds over super dense indica leaning buds. Dense...

Tap water/ RO water living soil

If your water is from the Rocky Mountains, it's going to have a lot of calcium in it plus a good amount of other good minerals. The PH is always high. I use Rocky Mountain water also. I cut the tap with RO. 1 part tap 2 parts RO. I don't PH the water. The soil if properly buffered will deal with...

2 different strains and issues. Any suggestions?

I was just going to follow being a soil grower but since no one has popped in yet I'll leave a comment then go back to following. 1st thing that should always be asked. Is your PH pen calibrated? Do you have a backup for PH testing. Drops are a great way to make sure things are good. Not sure...

    Shed some light?

4 possibilities IMO. Calcium deficiency. Calcium lockout from low PH. Calcium lockout from letting plant dry back too much too often as mentioned. Calcium lockout from a fertilizer imbalance.

    Droopy leaves - Transplant

Yes, the soil should be hydrated before transplanting for best results. Since it was not it should get a slow and even heavy watering. if you see runoff at the beginning it means the soil is way to dry and the water has run through to the bottom. That means keep slowly watering until the pot is...

    Stem showing roots?

Adventitious roots arise under stress conditions such as waterlogging after floods. Topping or cutting leaves can result in the development of adventitious roots.

    Plant Issues: Need Help

After 4 grows the PH buffering decreases and the soil becomes acidic and needs to have dolomite lime or oyster shell flower added to keep the PH from dropping to low. Might have a PH issue.

    Please help identify issue

I agree that N starts from the lowest leaves in veg. I don't find that to be the case in late flower when a plant has been topped a number of times. No pics of an earlier version of the deficiency? That's a shame. I would have liked seeing where exactly it started because it didn't start in the...

Hey Sunni , I was contacted by one of your advertisers yesterday. They said I won some nice lights.

It was in the link Nizza gave you. It was from 2021 and the advertiser hasn't logged on for almost a year.

    Other Plants

I still have my cherry tomatoes going. I found out they are Indeterminate. Indeterminate tomato plants can grow into monster plants. I just started some Roma seeds. Roma tomato plants are determinate and will stop growing at a certain point. Should make them easier for me to deal with indoors...

Ok all you Techies.. looking to cut the cord on Dish

How is the Digital Antenna working out for you? We cut the cord a couple of years ago. Went through the same 2-hour hassle to cancel that you did. No regrets.

Is this Tobacco Mosaic Virus? Almost three straight YEARS of total crop failure. Should I nuke the grow-op?

Again, I might be repeating something someone already said. Along with my feeling you are stressing them with improper watering. Your water source only has an average of 20 ppms of calcium. 75 ppms is the average amount of calcium that is needed for cannabis, could be higher or lower but 20 is...

Is this Tobacco Mosaic Virus? Almost three straight YEARS of total crop failure. Should I nuke the grow-op?

Been following this thread on and off. Leaving my 2c. Everything was perfect nothing changed for 15 years. Something changed over 15 years. If I had to bet on what I thought the problem was and got decent odds. My bet is your watering style changed. I doubt anybody goes 15 years without trying...
