    Citric acid residue and ph

Thanks. Must be some sort of reaction from the citric acid that makes whatever calcium is in the water precipitate out.

    Citric acid residue and ph

The sleeve that goes over the carbon filter. I have two of them and constantly switch them out because of this. I can’t understand what else it could be because it only started when I began using the citric acid, and in other areas of the house we’ve never had this residue for on humidifiers...

    Citric acid residue and ph

I’m blessed with spring water that has very little mineral content. The only problem is high ph around 8.2 which I treat with about 1/8 tsp of citric acid powder in a gallon before watering. The plants look much better since I started addressing ph. The only problem is a fine white powder...

Thanks, appreciate it and I’ll read through these pics. Cheers.

    Hang or hang out?

Haha. Based on your handle did you ever homebrew? I did and as with this I sucked at it initially. Got really good too and hope that happens with this. Reminds of it a lot. Quit brewing because I got too fat.

    Hang or hang out?

Haha nice one, never spent much time around her because of her lifestyle choices. She wasn’t a prostitute or anything but Ishe made a lot of money from men who paid her to have sex with them.

    Hang or hang out?

Haha maybe if I named it Jesus it would be reborn. But no, I didn’t kill it yet despite accidentally trying for the past ten weeks or so.

    Hang or hang out?

My grandmother used to like something and then she died of something else.

    Hang or hang out?

Auto flower northern lights (supposedly), first indoor grow. Is it ready to dry or should I wait a bit? I’ve never been good at judging despite reading tons of articles / pics.

    Cannot see crystals, right

I have a 30-60x jewelers loupe and it seems that’s about at strong as they come. I can see the crystals generally, but not their color. In fact it’s hard to tell if they’ve mood from clear to the next phase. Any recos for a better magnifier will be appreciated.

Update on sickly plants -the hot tub saved me

Many thanks to those providing insight on my first indoor attempt. Despite chasing over and under watering and the same with nutrients, my plants looked about dead until just recently, especially in the off cycle I refilled my hot tub and the water went straight to hell. A good dose of ph...

    When to address ph

Nice, I’ll move the fans. A bit reluctant to feed as we’re probably two weeks from harvest and they have evidence of nutrient burn. I might try some liquid seaweed “natures harvest” in the next watering.

    When to address ph

Thanks. They’re 3 gallon. It’s tough to describe and harder to see in a pic, but pebbles aren’t the right word. They’re small round rocks like you find in a stream, five underneath each plant so that they’re sitting a couple inches above the tray.

    When to address ph

Also….watering to runoff and the sacks are on large pebbles on a way so that reasorption can’t occur, am watering to runoff.

    When to address ph

Thanks ya, I wasn’t too jazzed about chasing the soil ph so your responses are a relief. I’ll dial back the fans. Soil is specifically oriented toward this hobby and has perlite, peat, earthworm casings etc. I’ve struggled with temp and humidity, trying to keep temp from going above 85. Most...

    When to address ph

I’ve had all sorts of trouble with these, which germinated around thanksgiving. Overwater, underwater, nutrient overload/deficiency Through it all they’re not dead which I’m guessing’s a miracle. It’s my first indoor attempt. It makes sense that each of these errors mimics the other based on...

    Thin leaves

Thanks. I’ve been guilty of newbie mistakes of overwatering and feeding. This is my first indoor attempt and it’s nothing like outdoor lol.

    Thin leaves

First, many thanks for all the tips. We’re getting there. I haven’t shared pics of this one in a while and it emerged around thanksgiving. I’ve noted the leaves are now very thin and idk if that’s typical at this stage. Thoughts appreciated as always.
