No, I have not tried Nematoades. After the sun flowers bloomed, the leafminers shifted over to them. I believe they prefer the softer and easier to eat leaves of the sun flowers. Funny enough, those same spiders showed up on the sun flowers too. I used whitney farms organic soil with bone meal...

The MG I used was the blue powder one and my plants took it very well, including my tomatoes/sunflowers/watermelon/peppers. Costco sold a huge box of it for 20$ Since I'm only planting 2 seeds, I'm gunning for 6 footers

Thank you, new information is always welcome as this is only my second grow. I've read about mega crop as a cheaper alternative to FF, what would you recommend for outdoors? For ipm, I got lucky last year, spiders/lady bugs took care of everything Thanks for the warning, I was able to...

Hello growers, I'm planning my second grow ever with 2 Dream Queens. Now's the time to get your nutrients, seeds, pots, and soil in order. Germinate April, in ground end of May, flower starts end of July, harvest October. This year, I'll use miracle grow nutes during veg in ground, and fox farm...

    Humboldt Seed Company (HSC) Thread

For future buyers, I put my order on chitownseeds, there is free shipping on orders over 80, but you have to select it, it automatically defaults to 10$ shipping, and under it is where you select free shipping. In a rush I didn't read it, and could've saved on shipping. Has anyone grown Dream...

    NEW YORK GROWERS

I'll make an official NY growing thread at the end of harvest documenting my whole grow, with this being my first grow, general advice and guidelines. If your grow is indoor, you're very very safe. There would need to be a warrant to search your home, second if anyone smells your dank bud, it...

    NEW YORK GROWERS

Yes it is 100% against the law to grow cannabis in New York, it will be allowed a year after dispensaries can sell recreational. Estimated legal grow year should be 2023. So what are the repercussions according to the statue? Here it is: Should be a fine of $125 no more than $200 and a possible...

    Almost ready?

Ryu is the main! but I've exclusively played Kazuya since his release so a bit rusty. Nothing 2 hours can't fix

Look into Grove bags, I'm on my first grow as well (outdoors), and it's idiot proof on the cure. They have advice on sweating the buds with paper bags after a week dry

Cool, that should kill them and from what I understand sprays are best when the plants aren't in flowering. Since this is out doors and yield will be fairly big, I wont be spraying any pesticide/fungicide and just toss what ever rot or mildew sets in.

My plants also had lots of miners on them for the past month, and a few leaves were chewed up. This last week when the pre flowers showed up, so did big spiders and 99% of the miners are now gone. Nature will take care of it

Hey, we're ~100 miles apart but pre flowers showed up 3 days ago on my plants, you can expect yours within a week. I defoliated my plants because I noticed small bits of white powder mildew growing, and also read watermelons should not be grown near them because they carry wpm often. Not sure if...

Thanks for the heads up, for those that aren't aware, this is true. We are not allowed to grow until a year after dispensaries are allowed to sell recreational, (estimated 2023 legal grow year) the full penalty is the following according to the statue: Should be a fine of $125 no more than...

Photo period update, saw 2 small pistils forming on the plant on the right today July 26th. The one on the right is showing more sativa dominance in her leaves and growth whereas the left is more indica dominant, both Durban Poisons. The left shows no pistils yet, it's a 9 week flowering period...

Hello, I'm growing in Staten Island, when will my photo's start flowering? Mainlined to 32 tops, and they're incredibly resilient. Pic was from a week ago. The 2 plants are Durban Poison from Nirvana, dug a 2x2x1 feet hole in-ground with Whitney Farms Organic Soil from costco that was pre-mixed...

Thanks for sharing, plant looks great. How long was the veg, what was the end weight, and why didn't you top for 32 colas for management? Since we're mainling outdoors, is there anything in particular to keep in mind? For example, I'm planning another top dress with a pinch of organic bone meal...

Hah turns out I'm doing exactly what you were pondering. The 2 plants are Durban Poison from Nirvana, dug a 2x2x1 feet hole in-ground with Whitney Farms Organic Soil from costco that was pre-mixed with compost, kelp meal, blood meal, alfa alfa meal, chicken litter, I added bone meal and...

Thank you for a thorough explanation on side branches and yield outcome. That was specifically a case of curiosity while topping yesterday because the shoot on several first nodes already developed a second node. From what I understand, bigger roots = bigger fruits Figuring out the threshold for...

Thank you for the advice, and thanks Insomnia for the well wishes. How much veg time should be allocated before the flip? If zero, I could top another round for 128 colas, but would that affect the quality of the nugs. Finally, I read at page 310 that answered what to do about side shoots from...
