I don't know much about it myself. I went with Atreum because a buddy that has both HLG and Atreum lights pointed me to Atreum.. The Atreum 288.2 also has the Samsung 301b diodes. I started with one and then added another through their Ebay store when Ebsy was offering 15% off. Another tidbit if...

I can't comment on HLG as I haven't used them yet. I just setup a panel light from Atreum Lighting in my 32"x32" tent and have been very happy with their products and customer service.

I think the b model has a lead coming off of it for you to add a dimmer, the a model has a dimmer built in to the unit.

No you can't clone them. The clone would be on the same schedule as the mother and would go in to flowering around the same time.

You might want to look in to autoflowers if you are going to be exposing them to lights during their dark period.

Not that I have noticed. Everything I've grown by Mephisto has been fantastic. I'm looking forward to seeing how my Barneys Farm lemon CBD auto does.

They both work well for me. I seem to have healthier plants when running hempy, but I've gotten bigger yields in promix.
