Plants usually take much longer than breeder/web site estimate. You're only at 8.5 weeks right now; I wouldn't worry. The pipe cleaners won't ruin your plant. It's already adapted to them and will manage.

FWIW, my mix of cool soil, Nectar, and perlite has been great. Super thick stems and fast growth. It's cheaper than using the straight Nectar, too. Another plus is that you won't need to feed the plant at all for four or five weeks. I think you could get by with just bloom nutes when it gets to...

I used Nectar #4 for autos, uncut, for my first grow and it was way too hot. I stunted both plants. I've tried twice more with it, first with the Nectar cut with 1/3 perlite, then with a mix of 1/3 very shitty, used up old potting soil, 1/3 perlite, and 1/3 Nectar. Only the last one didn't...

My cat is ridiculously intrepid when it comes to stalking the plants. They've taken it well but I had to build a tower to keep him out.

I'd be interested in the TS1000 or SP150. Cooler lights than HID for the summer.

I'm updating weekly, so I'll have another pic of the slow and steady Cinderella Jack toughing it out through hot soil in Sunday. In the meantime, I'm starting another seed in the cooler soil mix I tested on another auto today or tomorrow. I'll call it Big Cinderella.
