That's basically what I did with mine. Don't just use plain water with seeds that old. I used some Botanicare Liquid Karma to up the germ rates. 12 year old packs of seeds can use a little something to make them stand up on their own.

I have a male and a female in Veg now.. but those seeds haven't been sold in a long, long time.
