    ...All Things Vero...

Just wanted to share some of my recent results with my Vero29's 3'x3' tent with four girls vegged for about 50 days under 200w of 4000k Vero18. Unknown strain (I do not believe this is a bag seed though), in a mix of FFOF and perlite. Using full Earth Juice line This pic is about a 2 weeks or...

    Heatsinks for DIY LED lamps

Half the price of MW drivers across the board. Just gotta pay a little more for shipping.

    Heatsinks for DIY LED lamps

That was me! Could not be happier with these drivers. Very well built, extremely efficient. I have them on Vero's which is probably cheating myself a little but I am getting amazing results so far. :weed: And there customer service is some of the best I have come in contact with in a long time.

I went with 3500k on my flower panel because digi-key had not stocked 4000k yet. Having said that the 3500k chips look a lot more 'yellow' then my 4000k lights. I would go for the 4000k for sure. Pretty wonderfully balanced spectrum, my vegging plants look gorgeous under them. :weed: Don't...

DiY LEDs - How to Power Them

I have my pontoons powered separately. Makes it a little more convenient in that each module can be powered separately. It can be tough to find drivers to match everything though. If you are willing to take a hit on shipping you can check out lsdpower.com, tons of options. Can't imagine you...

    Best Flower Temp For Vero29

I think my biggest problem is the 4" inline fan I use to exhaust air out of the tent. Probably should have just gone with the 6". Also one of my heatsinks is a little small for the amount of power I am running on it so it gets a little toasty when the tent is closed. Other then that, a few...

Pictures of your DIY lights - Post your pics!!!

I think mc130p has something similar to this right now. If i remember correctly he has one CXA(B)3590 mounted on a corner in his flower tent, he usually powers it down for pics so you can actually see something haha. EDIT: found a pic https://www.rollitup.org/attachments/todaysview-jpg.3414308/

Should more attention be paid to quality drivers?

Damn! Did not think weed made me paranoid anymore haha! Took a rip and read this thread, and now you got me looking like a crazy person walking around my house with a radio. :finger: Just need to put my tinfoil hat on now. Better safe then sorry I guess! Thanks for all the awesome info as...

Anything to cut down on the variables will help find the problem! I am running ~460w of Brideglux COB's in a 3x3 about 24" above the canopy and my plants don't seem to mind at all. Running soil though. Sure they are not just N. deficient?

    ...All Things Vero...

Plant's leaves adapt to the light they are receiving. They probably don't appreciate getting tossed under so many different lights. Other then that maybe the new LED's are just putting out so many more usable photons the plant can't keep up. Does the problem persist when the light is further...

Pictures of your DIY lights - Post your pics!!!

Here are a few of my Vero creations. :fire: A modified shelf unit with three 28", 3.5" profile heatsinks. Each bar has 4 Vero13 2.0's 4000k powered at 350mA. Each bar is ~44 watts. Has a few clones and a Golden Cayenne Pepper plant on the bottom, and a nice little strawberry bush on top...

    ...All Things Vero...

Here is day 54 of flower, my prize plant, the other 5 were hermies and I don't want to take the time to try to snap some half decent pictures. Light is pretty bright, couldn't get find a combination that looked half decent, so decided to leave the four 3500k Vero's on and white-balanced to...

Building COB satellites to supplement 400W HPS

Check out GreenGenes latest Gorilla Glue#4 run. The plants under the 4000k panel arguably look the best.

    ...All Things Vero...

I think a lot of it has to do with efficiency also. 3590 gets up to 50% efficiency when run soft, which blows HPS/MH out of the water, which is what a lot of people are trying to achieve. So if you are aiming for the highest efficiency possible a Cree chip driven soft is the way to go. Once you...

Looks a lot like the spectrum BML Horticulture is using. Mostly blurple, little bit of white. ;-) Really cool to see what those little panels are capable of!

Building Prototype 300W CXB3590 Bar Need Comments Suggestions.

Also Heatsinkusa and some fans might be a little better for your bar idea. Passive cooling would make the build even cleaner, could be accomplished in a larger room such as yours.

    ...All Things Vero...

Just gotta think about how those lights will be spread. V18/V13's really spread the light (and heat) nicely over the canopy, with V29's you may notice a difference in the buds directly under each light, and the heat can be intense directly under them. I have some Vero13 2.0's driven at 350mA...
