Hey noobie outdoor grower here, trying my luck in pots this year seeing as last year was not a success. I transplanted from keg cups to one gal about 1 1/2 weeks ago and my plants have Easily doubled in size. Been watering every three days with approx 500 ml, they were looking happy healthy...

i know this is a old thread but man were you right on my pants taking off in the one gal pots hasn't even been very long and they have doubled in size!!

Just moved from keg cups to one gal pots, when I move to five gal can I add something like blood meal to my soil in low dose before potting up or would that likely burn my plants ( my soil now is pretty light on amendments)

I'm wanting a personal amount for a year out of seven plants.. If it doesn't happen I'll learn from this year and try again next year, still in the beginning stages of learning, looks like ur a seasoned pro lol

Your help is much appreciated, one last thing would you let your plants dry out so much that you can visibly tell they need water like drooping leaves, or do you do use moisture meter, pick up the pot and weigh?,stick your finger in to see if dry?,I fear I am over watering, but also don't want...

Nice man, that does make a lot of sence, probably going follow you on that one, and then while I'm waiting to pot up I can always add a bit to my mix for the five gals pots and then it will have more time to cook, do you pot up again from your five gals for flowering??

I was going to add blood meal in but did not because of the lack of time I have to cook the soil should I add a very little amount to soil at the bottom of pots and roots will adventually reach it? Or just forget about it and feed through water when I need to

Like 1/2 cup ish and is all Epsom salt the same? Like the stuff people think makes their muscles feel better when they put it in their bath?? Lol
