qute, that. I try not to be too dicky about shit like that. To be honest, it took a bit of sniffing around to find chem suppliers and then a bit more to find one which published a line card with H2O2 on it. you BAHstid. You're getting it cheaper than me. :D 4WD, dood. :) Bush AK would be...

dood, all I did was apply a liberal dose of google-fu. :D farm out, mang. :) Do share. What were you able to work out? Buds look great. :) good to hear it. :) You're wasting a bit more dough if you're using a biological pathogen control in conjunction with H2O2...

yes, that's the right stuff, but Gyps is having trouble getting the goo up in AK. Unfortunately a shop in CO isn't too helpful as shippers don't want to carry hazmat or want to charge a leg & your first born if they do.

    Nutrient Question

I'm not sure of any established optimal NPK for flowering, but I do know that 10-50-10 African violet food has given many ppl grief. I'd stick to a 1:2:1 ratio, i.e. 5-10-5, 10-20-10 or thereabouts for flowering. Some ppl use P & K based 'bloom boosters' (such as Canna PK-13-14 and imitators)...

Yep, that's way wrong. I pay $A125 ($US102.40) per 25L (6.61 US gal) at my hydro shop's dock. Chemical suppliers may quote quantities of H2O2 in kg instead of litres. H2O2 is denser than water (SG 1.19 @20C), so 25kg of 50% grade is actually about 21L... but is sold in 25L plastic jugs. You'll...

Check with Univar. H2O2 is on their line card. Another possibility may be Garness Industrial in Anchorage.

    Starting to flower - tips?

Never underestimate the ability of a marketer to meet a need he thinks exists. Want to go 300 miles per gallon? Someone will sell you a magic carburetor or a hydrogen electrolyser. Doesn't actually matter if it works or not, if you think you need it, someone will find a way to sell you a copy...

    H2O2 Dilution Ratios?

no, I'm on board. :) Thanks for the compliment. :) You may find that buying 50% grade in a big 25L (25kg) 'carboy' jug is cheaper in the long run. Check Goog or ye olde phone booke for local chemical suppliers. Should work out to $5/L if you shop well. 50% is used at 1ml/L.

Oh, well, far be it from me to misrepresent my motivations. There's no doubt I'm a really seriously incorrigible drugpig- and proud of it. ;) Glad the observation amused you, anyway. :)

    Starting to flower - tips?

50w of HPS per sq ft will give you good bud density. More light is better, up to the point where you have difficulty getting rid of the heat from lights (cooltubes are your best friend :)). Don't sing to your plants until they tell you what sort of music they prefer. Some like BOTH kinds of...

    Nutrient Question

Fertiliser composition is represented by a three figure expression like 10-10-10, 5-10-5, etc. The figures represent the ratios of the principal elemental nutrients N (nitrogen), P (phosphorus) & K (potassium) to one another. Cannabis prefers a high ratio of N to P & K for vegging, i.e...

Pre-soak RW cubes for 24h in water adjusted to pH 5.0. Drain the pre-soak soln completely; a salad spinner works great. Subsequent watering should be done with plain water, adjusted to pH5.8. Use 40mm RW cubes; the bigger ones hold too much water for too long. The water can lose all dissolved...

    Starting to flower - tips?

Nope. FloraNectar is a sugar/molasses additive: There may be some good science in adding sugars, molasses etc to soil grows where there are microbes at work breaking down organic matter into N, P & K, but that's not the case in inorganic based hydro ops. Plants can't use sugars as a nutrient...

    H2O2 Dilution Ratios?

Apply 35% H2O2 at 1.7ml/litre every 3-4 days. 1 US gallon = 3.78L so 3.78*1.7=6.426ml/US gallon Make friends with the metric system. It's so much easier to work with ml & litres than oz & gallons due to the decimal base in metric.

No problem, glad to be of help. However, my RIU visitation time is just about up. I go back to the salt mines tomorrow morning and I likely won't be back for a spell.

Yeah- the setup and op costs of a sealed system will be MUCH dearer than a conventionally ventilated op. There's a number of showstopper failure points in the sealed system, too. It's a lot less complex to shift heat by moving air than with refrigeration and a lot cheaper in operation, to boot...
