Need advice on portable 3 ton ac unit for a ten light garage grow

Its 100 outside right now and 94 in the garage. I'll fire up the lights soon and watch the temp after an hour or two during the hot part of the day. I'm thinking hiring a mason to replace the bricks is making the most sense

Thanks for the constructive comment. I'll talk to him about replacing a brick or two instead of just drilling a hole. There's no windows unfortunately.

Need advice on portable 3 ton ac unit for a ten light garage grow

That was the plan but the house belongs to my friend and he doesn't want me drilling a 3" hole in the brick. I would prefer a mini split... buying this unit is ridiculous but I wasn't going to argue with him over it.

Need advice on portable 3 ton ac unit for a ten light garage grow

There is a 16" exhaust duct I will run to the attic. I used this formula for the BTU amount I would need for AC. (Room SQFT x 20) + (Equipment Watts x 3.14) + (Active People in the room x 400) 9,680 + 24,492(i took my 6800W from lights and added 1000W for fans, controller, etc.) + 400 = 34,572...

No it will be an open flower room. I'm hanging lights from the ceiling. I'm framing and insulating the garage door and covering all windows with insulation and panda film so darkness won't be an issue.

I will be venting into the attic. I won't be using the entire space, just 5x5 under each light

Need advice on portable 3 ton ac unit for a ten light garage grow

Setting up a new grow in an insulated garage in Phoenix, Arizona so it gets pretty hot. I have ten 680W LED lights I will be running in here. The room is about 22'x22' and about 10 feet tall. I dont want to run a mini split because I cant be making 3" holes to run the piping in this house. I...

    What’s causing this leaf curl?

Yeah when I am running coco I want my ph runoff to be 5.7-6.2 but I know people who say the ph runoff doesn't matter, they claim it's only the ppm runoff. I'd recommend to feed the plant with regular strength nutrients and lower the ph to 5.5 or 5.6 for two days in a row then see what the runoff...

    What’s causing this leaf curl?

I think 900 is fine. Anywhere between like 700-1500 should be fine in my opinion. If the ph on the runoff is ok then I have no clue. Good luck dude

    What’s causing this leaf curl?

Yeah I would add some nutrients too

    What’s causing this leaf curl?

Yeah I use 3 gallon pots that sit in their own trays and pour 1/2 gallon through. I use one of those plastic nutrient syringes to pull out 30 or 40 ml of the runoff and put that in a cup and test the ph and ppm. Coco can get some crazy ph drift if its not kept wet, its not always a problem but...

    What’s causing this leaf curl?

Lol actually it probably wouldnt, not sure what I was thinking there. I still recommend keeping the coco saturated at all times and always feeding at least a light strength feed. When I used to feed once a day the pot would get light and the ph would swing like crazy, measuring runoff will...
