looking for LED-efficacy-data as complete as possible

yes i did...they are stated to be "SE-Rank"...and i have no reason to believe theyre not, its a mediocre rank so why should the company lie, they could have just said its top rank. For the bin, i found 4 different bins with slighty different Forward voltages, i just applied the 3rd best, or 2nd...

looking for LED-efficacy-data as complete as possible

thats what i meant...but the guys that sell the panel most of the times dont tell you what bin. LM281B+ at 50ma can have 200 or just 150 lumen per watt für example. I found nothing for epistar reds or even Osram reds so far.

looking for LED-efficacy-data as complete as possible

i spent a little time with the Samsung calculator, that thing is actually pretty cool, you can calculate the lumen for each diode and then convert it into umol/J. Thing is, most of the times you dont get info on the rank/bin. And then there are the red diodes that are not from Samsung most of...

Forgive me im really an electronic noob. IF you cant read, the left terminal is "Z1", the one on the right is "Z2" and the one in the...

    how to keep motherplants small

i think i messed up...my motherplant did produce some small flowers. I didnt make a real 16/8 or 18/6 cycle, i was thinking my roomlighting at night is enough to stop it from flowering...seems it wasnt.

    Sanlight Evo 5

ok thats about 540eu? same price than Austria/Switzerland/Germany. Would like to know how much US citizens pay. A friend has a 3-80 in a 80x80 and had a very good result. He didnt even turn it to 100% until the last weeks. So well under 300watt/squaremeter for the longest part of flower and...

    Sanlight Evo 5

probably too expensive oversees :) same problem we have when ordering Chilled lights. Just out of curiosity, how expensive are Sanlights for you? For example the 3-80? I suppose you live in Northern America? maybe the best concept for me of all lights. Just a little bit pricy.

yeah guess i have to have windows closed and only open them every couple of hours for a few minutes then. And set up a Carbon Filter.

high humidity problems in flower time.

if you cant make out the difference between a ventilated room and one without airexchange for a longer period of time...then probably because youre already used to it. You dont complain about something you feel to be normal.

high humidity problems in flower time.

dude, humans breath, humans sweat, many humans smoke. Just because you dont smell it, doesnt mean others cant ;) edit: just thinking, the tent with plant and the carbon-filter should actually make for an effective air-cleaner and replenish oxygen the you breath. But my single plant in my small...

high humidity problems in flower time.

Hello folks, my flowering time falls in September Oktober this year. right now humidity in my tent is 76% and even in my room its about 70%. Air exchange is on maximum. This gets even worse if it rains for days in a row and the lights go off at night. yesterday it was over 80% in the 12h dark...

    problem with QB288 connector

guys, i realized on 1 board the 4 "UV" diodes are darker/weaker than on the other boards. The temperature of the board is the same as the rest, so it doesnt seem to be an issue of unbalanced power delivery. Did they maybe use diodes with a slight different wavelengh? Doesnt really bother me...

    problem with QB288 connector

yeah the board connections look annoying. Looking back, it would have been way more preofessional to measure the first one and then cut each following cable to exactly the right lengh. But pulling them out again with this fragile connectors i didnt wanna risk it. I learned that for next time...

    problem with QB288 connector

i soldered the Plug on the AC side..each pole has its own shrinktube and then a large shrinktube over it. Really didnt take any chances on the AC side, also the PSu will never be in the tent, the DC cable is 9 feet long. The DC side i turned into a cinch connector and build a a splitter, so i...

who dares to give an efficiency guess in umol for this light: -240watt ELG 240-48(93%) -6 Quantum Boards LM281B+(Se-Rank), 7.2 diodes per watt -139mw or app. 50ma per diode -1728 diodes alltogether, 192 of them Epistar 660nm, rest is LM281B+...not sure about these 4UV and IR per Board...

id really feel safe with some transparent silicone....downside is, it gets nasty once you have to change/rewire a component.
