    Chaotic LST SCARED 1st time

If that becomes an issue, can’t he just loosen the restraints and have the plant reach toward light?

They like it when you rough them up a little bit. Keeps things exciting.

    Chaotic LST SCARED 1st time

Looks like a good job to me! The plant probably feels like Hannibal Lecter, though, when they’re wheeling him around...

    Flowering outdoors in spring?

So I’ve got a couple spare female seedlings that I plan on flowering in my tent right away, separately from my main outdoor crop. I don’t have much room in the tent but I want to pollinate one of these females for seed. Even if I had more tent room, I want to grow the other female for...

    Help please!

I dunno, I didn’t read all the posts before weighing in. Lazy-ass like I said.

    Help please!

I see this downward turn in the tips of leaves when I transplant into new soil. Happens to some plants and not others. I chalk it up to a mild shock from encountering a bunch of fresh nutrients, but they’ve always gotten past it. Don’t worry about it unless it gets worse and don’t try to correct...

    Are my plants ok

Hard to tell with so little info but I am guessing overwatered or underwatered. You may want to start over because when they get stunted as seedlings, they tend not to grow right.

    1st grow

The pistils spring from calyxes — basically sacs where seed would grow if pollinated — which will become engorged as the plant matures.

    1st grow

Looks like a real good job, especially for first grow. Not sure if my sense of depth is off due to photo, but one thing to watch out for could be the outer colas leaning when they get heavy and pressing against the tent. I’ve had this happen and they get misshapen and not as much light. I could...

    Spider mites

Can I do this while the plant is in flower? I have been loathe to use soap due to residue. But maybe I can wash the buds pre-harvest? Would this technique work without the soap?

    Spider mites

They are a pain in the ass. You can keep them at bay just by washing them off, I’ve found. Pyrethrin works too but I don’t use it in flower. Supposedly you can prevent them by having hospital-like growing conditions but that’s not always realistic. I don’t have problems with them outdoors, for...

That works for me too, until I get worried about being an alcoholic LOL

This is going to sound crazy...

So what? He can still enjoy growing the plant. I don’t smoke very often but enjoy breeding and giving it away. Why is this worth attacking someone over? How is he posing when he openly says he doesn’t smoke?

What do you make of these?

I thought the “destroying plants” line was a bit over the top.

What do you make of these?

I wouldn’t flush. It’s an old wives tale as far as I am concerned. Natural processes break down nutrients and transform them in the plant. You’re not going to be stuck with chemicals in the buds if you don’t flush. No farmer flushes tomatoes or other flowering crops. In my opinion, flushing will...

    Power outage in veg?

So it looks like I will have a power outage for more than 24 hours. Is this enough to fuck with my month-old plants that are in veg? Make them flower or turn hermie or something?

My new growth has the claw.

I get some clawing in young plants as a result of them getting a bit overwhelmed by the nitrogen in the soil. Not a big deal, as they seem to get used to it. I’d say the narrowness and curling of the newest leaves is more of a concern. Perhaps this is what you meant by clawing, but I don’t...
