What height should i keep my lights?

These pictures was about a week before I replanted them inside.. I just really need some advice

This is my first time growing. I threw some seeds on the ground outside my window and 2 of them took and started to grow.. Outside.... I left them there... For a while. Until i found out that both of them were female And bought a light to move them inside( before the first frost) they was good...
