    Grow cabinet

NorthernHize I just looked up the lights you mentioned. I'm looking at building a small flowering and small veging room, and it'll be built inside a shed. The grow boxes will be approx 1.2m deep x 1m wide x 1.65 tall, each. I'm really worried about the head and extracting it out of the box...

Guys I'm grateful. can you please link me up? help me build my shopping list. what is a 315cmh? where can I get cheap insulated ducting? I do want this to be a 1 time set up. I'm hoping that I won't need to upgrade for 5 years, hence my $1000 au budget. Sounds like i'm going 600w hid's x 2...

I'd prefer to do this, however the heat is killing me. If i build two boxes, flowering and veging, then I need two lights, and 2 exhausts. Is it possible to build an exhaust that will service both boxes? is that even advisable? Bear in mind I'm planning on growing in a box, in a shed. The...

If i use led's, then I can reduce the heat. in the grow box? can you post some pics of your setup? or a link to something similar? i'm sorry but I'm not good at picturing this stuff yet, so a lot of what you said went straight over my head. You're using 10 gallon pots? I don't have the space...

dude you've got no idea. This is stressful. I'm overwhelmed. gotta get the light situation right. People are having ok results with cheaper led's, cheaper led's which are still more expensive than HID bulbs. So I can control the height of my plants with the plant training.

My space is 2m wide x 1.2m deep x 1.65 high. I'm worried that if i get a 600w system it'll be too big for my space. I'd have to get genetically short seeds wouldn't I? Or can I control how big the plants get by getting them to flower early? Ideally I would have a separate space for veging and...

soil can have pests and is harder auto feed isn't it? hydro is faster and has less chance of pests, it's easier to treat root rot pre-emptively. from the reading I think it feels like I can set up a system and if it's working right, I'll only need to check on it daily. ok, even i feel i'm...

I guess I should clarify that I'm looking for a low maintenance hydroponics set up. I'm willing to do the learning to get it right. I need a system that will last. I'm getting help with building all of this, so i'm considering building a hydro set up as well. I'd rather buy one that works...

@ebcrew Cheers mate. the Auto Pot I linked was $12 a pot, plus $35 or so for a 35Litre reservoir. What I liked about it, is it is self watering, and hopefully I'd only need to check it once a day. I thought it provided a full system. Where did you get $65 from? is that for all 4-5 pots and...

another option I have is to build a single box. That way I can afford the fancy white light led panel. In this scenario I would need a solution to cloning plants during the last few weeks of the grow. Is it possible to make clones during the flowering stage? This way I could lengthen my grow...
