this forum needs more info about ceramic metal halide lights. Do they provide better results than mh in veg and hps in flower?

What ballast you got for them? I have the new Lumatek digital ballasts, could I use either of the lights on a Lumatek? The ballasts are 600 watts, but also adjustable to a 400 watt setting as well.

how do typical mh lights compare to cmh (ceramic metal halide) during vegetation. What are their main differences? Which would produce better results in veg? Also, how do cmh lights compare to a light such as the Hortilux Blue for veg?

I don't wanna buy anything yet. Im just gonna try the Apollo 8 timer first. But how much would you sell the Apollo 4's for? And how long have you had them? And how do you control the time the lights come on with two timers?

Have you ever tried the Apollo 8 timer with two 600 watt lights? Is it absolutely necessary that I get a different timer such as the Apollo 4? Or will I be ok with the Apollo 8 because the ballasts have soft start? In the future I eventually want to use two 1000 watt lights, what to use then?

Since the new Lumatek ballasts have soft start, I assume I should have no problem using the Apollo 8 timer with two 600 watt ballasts on it?
