    LED Build 3x3

Cbd don't degrade the same and that tiny bit of THC in that plant aged out to CBN sounds like a really good plan. Not like you would really get a buzz from the .5% THC anyway. Love to see your grow thru to finish. I have wait a few months as I already got a set of clones to go in after I...

    LED Build 3x3

Ohh sweet. I'm putting that on next I have the seeds, the sativa pheno is the higher % cbd so look like you got the best one . Definitely will stretch a lot and scrog for that is a good idea. looking forward to see how that flowers! I wanna try and make oil out mine. Expensive seeds and not...

Nice, you going to scrog that down when you get your light in? What strain?

    LED Build 3x3

Well I would like to. A few folks dont use heat sync at all at that. I was thinking a small 1.5cm wide u channel to give it a little bit of heat sync and something that can extend past the length of the strip to screw into the frame. I don't know how strong they are on their own as I still have...

    LED Build 3x3

I just ordered that thermal tape and gonna use aluminum u channel. Not going the full width of the strip tho. Seen a few pics of the thermal distribution on the back and think smaller stock shoul be fine. Definitely thumbs up on washers, I would just use electrical tape and cut small squares...

    LED Build 3x3

If you hit anything you won't hurt anything unless you turn it on. If screws cut past the buffer then just don't use the screw,. Just check one, all might be fine. Any nicks in the board surface can be touched up

    LED Build 3x3

Well it might be perfectly fine. But look at the very end of the strip. It has solder pads meaning there is lots of contact surface under. I only remember from old school ways of making your own strips. Check the back like mentioned above . I was going to screw between mine with something...

    LED Build 3x3

I was looking at those specs and most of the holes I thought were for optic, or clip in. Damn I hope he see this before he plugs that in. I still have a week or 2 before I get mine so I don't know

    LED Build 3x3

Question about how you have them screwed in, does these strips have a buffer around those holes to prevent conductive surface contact to screws? Traditionally led strips entire upper and lower half have full conductive surface just under the outer coating. I would be very cautious mounting...

    LED Build 3x3

I Good point, Considering keeping the voltage down I think I will get the following driver' HLG-320H-C2100A . I'll just keep the strips in pairs to meet the 2A. (1050 per strip) And 15 strips. Going to put my order in now well. Maybe 14 strips and a spare to keep it even, the dimmer will cut...

    LED Build 3x3

Awesome.thats what I was hoping for. Thanks for clearing that up. Think I want the 1050 320 driver now if it has flexibility and the dimmer. Is that what you would use? I have to say, Thanks again for all your help, you totally rock. I'll let you know what I finally put together soon :)

    LED Build 3x3

Well I'm about to end a grow with burples I can wait a few. I never considered a constant current driver. How do they know what voltage to run at or do they just fall in that range with sires hookup, 119-238 in this case. Would it not run the risk of voltage creep? It's almost too perfect. Only...

    LED Build 3x3

That's the ones I have in my cart. And 3500'S will be in on the 30th of this month. Yeah I'm in Nova Scotia, my room is tiny. Sticking to 3x3 tent for now

Nice. But Now I have to start looking at Samsung strips. Arrrhghh. Lol. I'll post back a Samsung build to get your thoughts.

    LED Build 3x3

Yeah But the 200w of nice growmaw fixture cost 340 and only cover 1/2 my tent. It's 327$ for 20 strips and driver for the full tent and maybe 50$ of other pieces and I have most the extras laying around. I would need two of those 680$ for similar coverage. Seems that strips are the way to go...

    LED Build 3x3

I went through that site looked at the kits and even thought about the chilled logic pucks and quantum boards even cbx3590 cobs . The cost for me in Canada for these and heat sync is crazy high priced. I don't really see a lot of info of builds without heatsync other than eb strips. If you...

    LED Build 3x3

how well do they run without heatsync? I'm aiming for a full 300watt build in my 3x3 and 20 lights does it perfect. I'm curious now as I don't know much on the Samsung strips. You thinking 301b's or better? Thinks that's what quantum boards use.

    LED Build 3x3

Nice. That's what I'm planning to build. Just waiting for the strips to come in stock. I might mix a few 3000k. 15x3500 &5x3000 Nice thing is if you want to run the strips at 75% you could just run 20 strips at 1a and get full use of the driver. Think I'll add a switch to shut off the 3000k as...

    This is what I have

Yeah there hard to find though. What is the max percent do you run without heat sync? Any idea? Does 1000lumen strips doubled up run cooler or better to stick with 2000 or 4000 lumen strips?
