Chemtrails, what are they? Vote Here..!

At the risk of sounding like a conspiracy theorist there is definitely something being sprayed out of planes. The vast majority of people will say its just jet wash & laugh at anyone who says anything else because the vast majority of people have been programmed by the media & government to...

Help with intermittent fault on a CXB3590 panel

Well I took the panel into a nice bright room & gave it a good visual inspection & pulled on all the wires to look for loose connections. Nothing showed up. I disconnected the 5 fans & still nothing obvious on the wiring under the fans. At this point I had to start cutting the wire out of the...

Help with intermittent fault on a CXB3590 panel

Sorry yeah, I recall that now. My memory is not as good as it used to be & there has been quite a few different suggestions with this. Well the panel is coming down in a little over an hour so its crunch time. Worst case scenario nothing is obviously wrong but I re-wire with solid core anyway...

Help with intermittent fault on a CXB3590 panel

Morning all (UK based). Still no change. All 4 cobs are functioning. The issue has not re-occurred for over a week now. I'm not going to rest on my laurels though. I will be taking the panel out of the grow tomorrow just before lights off. At that point I will be able to strip it down & give...

Help with intermittent fault on a CXB3590 panel

All wire joins have been made by twisting, soldering & then wrapping in amalgamation tape so theoretically they should be sound. In all honesty I could have done a better job selecting the drivers. At the time I had seen a lot of info from a certain mouse like character who was all like “max...

Help with intermittent fault on a CXB3590 panel

No change with it so far touch wood. I've done a bit of re-wiring the driver end today. I've received all the bits I need to do a rewire of the panel itself which I aim to do this Saturday afternoon. Hopefully I'll be able to see what's going on when I strip it down.

Plants needing less EC as they get further in to flower?

Completely normal. In my experience plants demand for nutrients ramps up through veg to a peak during transition from veg to flower & then starts to taper down. I normally have to start reducing the ec level a little the 2nd week of flowering & then bit by bit over the rest of the grow.

Help with intermittent fault on a CXB3590 panel

I have attached another image. This is the top side of the panel. You are not going to be able to clearly see the wiring as it has been pushed in between the fins of the heatsink. As you can see I have highlighted the positive in & the negative out. Essentially the circuit starts with the...

    UK seeds. Marijuana-seeds.nl.

Attitude seeds is the most well known. Seed city is also good, plus they have free postage. Also alibongo headshop has recently started their own independent seed website. I have used them a few times recently as they have had the lowest price for what I was looking for. They are a bit slower at...

Help with intermittent fault on a CXB3590 panel

@nonamedman420 I'll have a look at next lights on but yeah I doubt they would have worked as long as they have if one of them was wired back to front. @CannaBruh unfortunately a lot of what you said went over my head.doh! Fingers crossed once I re-wire it doesn't happen again.

Help with intermittent fault on a CXB3590 panel

@nonamedman420 thanks I'll give that try if the fault re-occurs before my new potentiometers arrive. @ANC & @CannaBruh I'll take a few more pictures at lights on. Easier option for me but in the meantime to hopefully give you a little more info the positive lead from the driver is attached to...

Help with intermittent fault on a CXB3590 panel

The last 2 cobs. If you have a look at the photo in the first post you should be able to see that the cob that is lit on the left has a red wire going in one side. That is the positive in from the drivers positive, start of the string. The wiring then runs to the next cob cob on the right which...

Help with intermittent fault on a CXB3590 panel

I must admit I have only used the cheap ones from *bay to date. I didn't really know which brands to look for. I can pick up some Vishay on the bay. Sketch wise what are you specifically looking to see? There is a photo of the panel on my first post that I took when the panel last displayed...

Help with intermittent fault on a CXB3590 panel

Well I am waiting on some solid core wire & 10amp cable connectors to be delivered. When that happens, I am essentially going to re-wire the whole thing & replace the potentiometer. Bit of a ball ache but cheaper than a replacement driver & safer than a fire caused by a short! Touch wood, the...

Help with intermittent fault on a CXB3590 panel

@1212ham not sure but for the cost ofan pot I'll give it a go. @CannaBruh yes all 4 are in series. The first 2 cobs have been fine, it's the last 2 cobs that I've had the issue with. I'm on a tablet at the moment so wouldn't know how to upload a diagram on this. I can try when I'm next at a...

Help with intermittent fault on a CXB3590 panel

@klx ok right I thought you meant run them at fall blast going forward & see if the problem re-occurs. But it sounds like you are saying wait for the problem to re-occur, power down & cut the pot & then power back on. Sorry I understand now. I hope that is the issue as that is a cheap fix. I...

Help with intermittent fault on a CXB3590 panel

@psychedelicdaddi yes, the plug I attached to the driver has a 13 amp fuse in it. I only have one other Meanwell HLG driver to use to test the cobs. I haven't yet as they all started working again. @CannaBruh it’s just a waiting game now till they next play up & then I can trouble shoot some...
