I keep my 50 site DIY cloners on 24/7. .. produced thousands of clones this way using nothing but tap water. I don't check temps in the res but I know it gets a little warmer. I've never seen an visible bacteria or algae growth.

I personally wouldnt use only teas in perlite. .. if I were going down the same route as you, I would apply in the last two weeks. I have been flushing with seaweed extract solution recently.

If you do a run or two without; then try experimenting with the teas, you'll be able to determine if the product you get is improved by the addition a tea. personally I don't bother. others do.
