Hermied week 5, make hash or cure it?

Are you growing in plain ol soil? I don't water in any nutrients, I just put in successive amounts of soil and larger pots throughout the grow. Has worked well. I feel like it's barely enough to keep the plant happy, so this division of its resources is more pronounced than if it had an...

Hermied week 5, make hash or cure it?

Yes, lacking density. I find that they go from growing densely to loosely after being pollinated. Or perhaps when nannering, possibly from stress. The first round did it after they were seeded and this round did it towards the end when the nanners were out of control.

Hermied week 5, make hash or cure it?

These ones I believe the nanners were becoming too hard to keep up with at the end and they also started to slow down and get a little more loose. The trichomes got milky in time though so I cut em before it got overly loose.

Hermied week 5, make hash or cure it?

Round 2 turned out ok. I picked the nanners this time before they had a chance to spread. 1 week into cure and it is already a good, strong high. Tastes poor, but it'll get there.

Hermied week 5, make hash or cure it?

They start growing loosely once pollinated, plants energies are divided. It's fairly simple. It's not useless, it's just lower upper potential. When I have a handful of clones ready to replace them already, it's a no brainer. Nanners aren't always a death sentence, but in my case there were...

Hermied week 5, make hash or cure it?

Life is an experiment. I like that. They were clones of the same plants, ya. Only the top of the plant was nannering. I noticed that the upper canopy leaves were yellowing and nannering, so I lifted my lights and some green came back into the leaves and the nanners started drying up and dieing...

Hermied week 5, make hash or cure it?

My diy bridgelux lights are too good. I grew a second round and caught the nanners early. The last round had full on seeds developed and the buds started growing super loose after they got pollinated. It was a good time to cut that shit short and start anew in my new tent that didn't have barn...

The real "300$" walipini (pit greenhouse)

Someone likedthis so I thought I'd update. The greenhouse works well for being a warm area, but I'm afraid I made it too narrow to really be of much use as a greenhouse. Also, the slant of my roof in relation to the slope of the hill made for poor drainage. Water came up around the floor boards...

Trying to determine what element is working

A vet was helping me out and giving me some midnight for a while, smoked it and vaped it, never tried consumables. I have smoked, vaped, ingested cbd and it's good for the body but does nothing to calm my anxiety or clear my ADD mind. Have had a couple prescriptions for weed that I inevitably...

What is a good addition to 3500k LEDs?

Thanks! Your reply helps a lot and gives me something to look into.

Hermied week 5, make hash or cure it?

Well sorry to disappoint all the avid seed smokers who would rather waste time and precious growing space, to make schwag you have to pick through, when I have backup clones ready to flower. Also, I cooked with it and it's fine. Makes great smoothies too. Meanwhile my og kush that replaced that...

What is a good addition to 3500k LEDs?

Do I even need to worry about adding IR since my 3500k strips are considered a "full spectrum white" and have some ir? Perhaps I just need 650nm. As far as the indicas go I'd be fine with just the 3500k. My sativas seem to be in need of some more red light to cut down on their stretch.

What is a good addition to 3500k LEDs?

I'm looking at adding a luminus cxm-22 (COB) gen 4, 2700k running at 60w. However I don't like that it isn't really hitting its peak on the deep red area and with a heatsink it's more than strips cost. Can anyone give me the skinny (or a link) on making your own boards with individual diodes...

What is a good addition to 3500k LEDs?

I assume I'll get hit with duties and shipping, ordering from an Australian site. No? If there's something like that on Digikey that'd be great but I'm not finding it

What is a good addition to 3500k LEDs?

Haven't dabbled in Alibaba yet but I'm intrigued and think I will try it. They also have amazingly cheap pin fin heatsinks

    The new "Bridgelux Thrive" LED

https://www.ledsmagazine.com/leds-ssl-design/packaged-leds/article/16699036/bridgelux-announces-thrive-series-leds-with-uniform-and-broad-spd Anyone heard of this? Looks like it's going to have a much more uniform light distribution. Is this going to be any good for plants? I can't seem to find...

What is a good addition to 3500k LEDs?

Looks like something I could use. Think I may try to make it from components though, as it's kinda pricey for how simple it is and how low the wattage is.

What is a good addition to 3500k LEDs?

I have 480W of 3500k bridgelux eb gen 2. They do well. I'm looking at amping up the wattage a bit to 600W max. What would be the best addition? I already have some 5000k veg leds. 2700k full spec LED? A small HPS? Some ~750nm red diodes? Please give your product suggestions with cost and lm/W...
