    I have not use them, but a friend does. He swears by them. I always argue with him that 5 gallon is optimal, but he says the 3 gallon smart pots holds more than 3 gallon. They look very useful, if you have the money to spend on them I say go for it.

    You got a bug eating your plants. When I did grow outdoors, unfortunately I would use pesticides for the first few weeks along with neem oil. This might not be the best solution, but it did work for me. I had the same issue.
