I tossed a few buds that looked and felt skeevy too. The plant probably would have kicked out 11 or 12 oz total had she been rot-free, but considering that I whittled her for a month before I chopped her I can’t bitch all that much lol

Jarred the Hawaiian Hashbud X Balkhi cross yesterday, got a half pound total off of her. Not bad for a plant that battled rot for a month. Not seeing any exponential explosion of rot on the monstah Tirah - the trichs are still mostly milky and resin is still being compounded, so unless things...

Only one small spot of rot on Tirah 1, she remains my favorite plant. Flowers are fat but airy -

Didn’t take Tirah 10 down after all - rot isn’t progressing all that quickly and I wanna see what several nights in the 40s will do to her -

Well the rot has finally hit some of the Tirah - although hasn’t bothered my favorite one. It’s spotty and not turning entire colas into stew, which is good. I’ll be taking one of them down tomorrow - she is quite resinous and sticky already and should make good hash. C’est la vie and frankly...

“I'm now a firm believer that genetics that have been bred through generations outdoors, in a similar terroir, will perform best when grown outdoors in that same region ... My seed collection is as vast as they come with all kinds of big name and hype strains, but I'm done trying to grow them...

The Hawaiian Hashbud X Balkhi cross is being chopped today. Topped her a few days ago and it’s time for the rest to come down. Losing about 25% of what is still on her, probably should have taken her ten days ago but wanted to push longer. Not feeling all that bad for myself over it - like I...

Assuming I can get them to the finish line mostly intact, I’ll end up using the hangers for the 2-3 lbs. of flower I cure in jars but will use clothesline in the attic to dry the majority of it for dry sift to make hash. For large colas I would skip clips and hang four or five branches.

It’s really hard to know what will work in this climate. I’ve had great luck so far with the Tirah Valley hashplants - is that because they are from an area that is subject to the monsoon? The Hawaiian Hashbud X Balkhi cross started to show botrytis on the exact same date as the Balkhi I grew...

I use these to hang branches - not sure how many I’m gonna need for 8 big ol’ hashplants between 10’ and 16’ lol - https://www.amazon.com/Toplife-Clothes-Stainless-Windproof-Underwears/dp/B07J3CKHTR

I keep threatening to chop the Hawaiian Hashbud X Balkhi cross. Will be forced to do it soon anyway. Still smells like a lime creamsicle. Saved bud from trimming has nice daytime effects but clearly gotta cure.

After finding rot on at the very top of Tirah 10 about a week and a half ago she’s been fine since. Still adding bulk. Just took a few hits of some of the bud I saved from cutting, it does the job quickly as I am already content and yawning. Flower smell is gassy cedar and smoked very smoothly...

Tirah 1 bracts starting to show some purple. Coke can pom-poms without much popcorn. Love her structure. Getting resinous and is quite sticky. Zero mold! Gives me me hope I can take her deep into the month. L

Found rot on one of my two big Tirah that is furthest into flowering. Fortunately not a huge amount and it is easy to spot. Just means more time and effort inspecting, removing and spraying. End of October can’t get here soon enough LOL. In the meantime they are purty at least -

Was away all day, came back home to soaked plants and some leaning branches I’ll have to tie up tomorrow. Tirah 1 getting plumper - Hawaiian Hashbud X Balkhi cross getting pretty darn close -

For whole plant sprays I mix 1 part 3% peroxide with 5 parts water, but use straight 3% on bad areas.
