    The Irish Growers Thread!

Both, I love photos, but sometimes autos are more reliable. I'm actually in coastal bc, not ireland, but our climate is so similar here, that I enjoy following this thread too. I've found the strains recommended here work well where I am too.

Win Don Girl Scout Cookies from Killabeez Seeds

Awesome opportunity! Thanks! I'm looking at them for the first time some cool crosses I haven't seen before along with some of the classics. And for 12 points, something you could say in a rollitup forum and in the bedroom.... That purple dick looks good. I'd be interested in watching it grow.

    Which strain you like most

I grew big bang last season. And damn it lives up to its name. I can't smoke it. It's way to strong for me.

Cannabis videos other places than YouTube?

So YouTube has started age restricting videos in my area. I don't feel like trusting a company like that with a copy of my passport or driver's licence (maybe I'm a paranoid Android) l, so now I'm cut off from an incredible learning source. I've done some searches on Vimeo and daily motion...

Germinating. I’ve done it for years. Now, I’m confused.

The best way I have found is soak 24-48 hrs in dilute seaweed extract ( contains natural gibberellic acid - a germinating hormone) in a warm dark place (I use old black plastic film cannisters in the airing cupboard), then straight into seeding compost. I have tried various different ways, but...

Do seedsman breed their own brand seeds?

Yeah I have to say all the ones I've got so far have been decent.

Do seedsman breed their own brand seeds?

I always use seedsman, and they often ship freebies, sometimes it is their own-brand seeds. I've grown a few out and they are decent. Just curious if they actually breed their own in Spain, or if they repackage someone else's?

    Growing in the wild

I grew several times in the wild back in the day. I would say if this is near a walkway, if you can see or find it easily, so can everyone else - including LEO. I would not bother with nutes. If the soil is good, the microbiology should be on point. I have dug in manure in the past and made...

I give up, this is not for me...

I'll add my vote for the soil grow route. Far easier imo for a beginner particularly. In a post legalisation world I see less and less reasons to use different complex systems, when soil works really really well.

    Seedlings leaning/falling over

The Japanese use this technique for many greenhouse raised plants to harden them off before going outside. They even have machines for the purpose. It saves on labour off bringing the plants in and out constantly for hardening off.

    Outdoor breeding this season.

That's fantastic! I can tend to them everyday, so hopefully I'll be able to catch them in time . Otherwise I guess I'll just have away more seeds than I need

    Outdoor breeding this season.

How would I keep the males seperate apart before they show sex? Edit: it is difficult to convey tone over text, so to clarify, that is a genuine question, not an attack.

    Outdoor breeding this season.

I usually grow directly in the soil. The legal status where I am nessasitates a less than perfect approach to growing. Having said that if the legality where to change - although many things might alter about my growing process, I think I would still grow directly in the soil.
