When I did that, the AC pulled the stink thru the entire house somehow. I had to disconnect it - fast. I ended up using an exhaust fan venting outside pulling neg pressure inside. No stink in the house whatsoever - peace restored. Pretty sure the AC pushed the smell out thru the intake by...

I vent a 4'x6'x8' closet outside thru a filter - 6" fan - 6"duct - into a dryer vent. I don't want neighbors smelling funk outside. I went way oversize on the filter (Phat brand), and run the fan low and steady. It's so humid here the filters only last a year. Good insurance costs more.

I got a hand-me-down Dyson bladeless with oscillation and hepa + carbon filter. Has a phone app and wireless remote. Big - comes up to my belly button. Very quiet. I'm stoked to try it. Did I mention I got it for free? My Air King is old and creaking. Into the secret magic closet it goes, oh...

I have 50-pint Midea from Home Depot, and it has auto restart (manual page 11) "If unit stops because power is cut unexpectedly, it will restart with previous function settings automatically when the power resumes." So I got lucky, then. Its been too dry this winter to see how good it works...

Yeah, I can't complain. 1st grow went well, no smell inside or out. I've added a dehumi to the lung room since then, and trying to get some old rare beans going for this run.

I did a quick ball-park CFM test on my extraction setup today. I used a duct anemometer to measure ft/min at the intake of the fan (6" AC Infinity 6S) with filter disconnected. The fan output goes into 16" of straight 6" flex to a 6"x4" adaptor, then into the 4" dryer vent. I expect the net cfm...

My 6" filter/fan feeds into a 4" dryer vent, but it's a short run of about 6 inches of 4" to a 4x6 adaptor, then about 16" of 6" duct to the fan. Space is about 200 ft^3, but only 4' x 3' area used for growing. One 350W light. 1-3 plants max personal. So far - so good, but if I expand at all...

I bought the Midea 50-pint w/pump. So far, so good, but kinda loud fan, even on low.

Of course, duh, but Amazon is out, and their shipping is bad anyway (read reviews: dents, no outer box, no gift option, etc). Other sources I've used, local shops, and the usual suspects say no stock, or they simply aren't listed anymore. Ebay has only ridiculous prices for the size ($288 )...

Just ordered a Phat 6"x24" to replace a Can-Lite that didn't last 6 months. Cannot find Phresh available anywhere - are they even around anymore?
