Not quite. A driver in CC mode adjusts the current to dim. Then as the current changes the forward voltage of the LED changes, and the driver will then change the voltage to match.

If you attempt to place an AC dimmer to the AC input of the driver, the drivers going to have a bad time and will be unhappy. Its dimmable through an internal adjustment, which works but is not intended to be constantly changed all the time as its made of plastic and will wear out eventually.
