Is this heat stress? Or is this normal?

once the plant goes into flower it sucks nitrogen from older fan leaves to create calyxes (buds) its normal. if i were you id give it some type of nutrients just to make happier but def not heat stress

    What do do during flower

if you use full nutes i say it would be ok especially if indoors i leave it on outdoor so the caterpillars eat the smaller popcorn stuff and try to salvage the nice prized tops. if youre limited in space and soil id say yeah remove it but outdoors i let it grow how nature dictates

    What do do during flower

i wouldn't worry about removing the lower leaves once the plant is done with em it will drop em on its own this will be a alternate source of nitrogen for the rest of the transitioning phase. jist my .2 cents
