H3 with 3" lift kit and bigger M+S tires. We had an 87 Suburban with 8" of lift and 44" mud bogger tires that was way better in the snow but at 8 miles per gallon it was a killer to fill the twin gas tanks when gas went over 4 bucks a gallon.

Our road up the mountain is so steep that if we get more than 6"-8" of snow even my Humvee can't make it to the house. I like a few snow storms each winter but not this early and not too heavy. The valley below us is beautiful with a fresh snow.

It's not going to affect the potency of the plant but you might want to do a lower budsite so you can harvest the rest first and give the area you try to pollinate time to produce mature seeds.

Keep inspecting the plant very closely and take them off as soon as you see them. Could be an isolated spot but if they start popping up in multiple places you'll have to decide then whether to chop. The plant looks like it has a good ways to go yet. Lots of white pistils and no calyx swelling...

A buddy the town over has 4 of the regular burros and 2 minis. My wife saw the mini ones when we dropped off some baked goodies last year for his birthday and fell in love with the idea of them and the mini horses. Lots of work taking care of them but we'll see about it next spring.
