Upgraded from a 2x2x4 to a 3x3x6. Currently running 1 Mars Hydro Ts 1000. Been looking at the Spider Farmer 1000 to add in after the girls finish. Do you guys think that's overkill?

Bad ass on the med card renewal! Grew up in IL so when we go visit family we hit the rec/med shop. Prices high enough there to keep the black market going for A WHILE! Especially when rec customers are only allowed to buy certain things rather than full menu access with limited weight option.

IL prices are ridiculous my dude. $70+ for an 8th is NUTS! Setup looks good but aren't the lights a bit far? I've read here and through multiple other forums it should be around 18 to 24 inches away throughout its life.

Well the new light and tent came in a day early. All set up and going. The girls look really small in the new setup!

Well again, I appreciate the advice. Were I in a better financial position I would go with something better quality, bigger tent, and branded seeds instead of bagseed. Maybe with the money I'll save harvesting my own I can realocate to better equipment

I really do appreciate all the responses and advice given so far. If I had it my way I would have the best of the best with multiple rooms dedicated to growing. Sadly I only have a closet for raising the girls.

Totally read that as HID instead of HLG lol. I'm sure HLG is leaps and bounds better but the cheapest DIY kit was $450 on their website. $150 trumps $450 all day everyday for me haha

Yea but the space I have for my tent is not set up for that type of heat management nor do I want to add in an a/c to help. This was suppose to be a budget venture yet I'm into it around $300 now. Way over the $150 budget I initially set for myself when these girls popped.

From what I've read its 150 watts with a bigger coverage area than what I have. Currently this is a hobby for personal use and I'm only working in a 2x2x4 tent. $140 for a new light was a punch in the gut and im not interested in the DIY route so that seemed my best option.

Yea we established that in a different post. Ordered a Mars Hydro TS 1000. Its within budget and should be more than sufficient in the small tent.

Well I'm excited for the 1000 to arrive. Hopefully it'll help make my girls thicc lol. Not bad for a bagseed grow either way lol

I just figured I can spend the extra $50 for maximum coverage in my tent. The goal is high yields on a budget haha

Thank you for the response. I canceled my order for the 600 and am going to order the 1000 directly from Mars Hydro
