When you say your last grow was a complete failure, what exactly does that mean? I think you’d be better off using a well aerated commercial mix like Promix HP or add some perlite to a mix and see if you can grow some buds first. Later once you have the basics down, you can mess with custom soils.

I‘d add cal mag to everything. Shouldn’t hurt anything as long as you don’t go overboard.

Really at this point you have no idea what your soil ph is. First, You can’t do a slurry test with tap water and second, you can’t get any meaningful ph with a pool ph drip tester with a slurry. Give that and the pics give her some cal Mag and carry on. what kind of soil? How long has she been...

To clarify, you want to control a single exhaust fan with temperature and Rh? That is not that easy. Ink bird does make a Rh temperature controller but it has 2 outputs one for each. So you would need to plug the fan into both outputs but then you’d be back feeding power into one or the other...

With that size you should be running 500 watts in that size and aim for bout a pound.

what is that cardboard on top of the lights? You might want to remove that if it is. LEDs do generate heat. They last longer if you can keep the heat down.

How big Is the grow tent you made? You want a minimum of 30 actual watts of high quality LED per square foot for best results. Last grow you used 30 watts and got 20 grams. 2/3 gram per watt. Not bad for a first try.

week 5 of flower? Looks more like week 3. When did you start counting weeks and How long did you veg for? You should get 2 more lights if your using the whole 10x10. Either that or push them closer together and under the lights.

They look ok. You’re no where near half way through flower though. 5 weeks more at least.

Looks like mechanical damage. Nothing to worry about if you don’t have bugs. Maybe a little rough touching when those leaves were just developing.
