LST training stakes? What are you using?

I like the binder clip idea. I need to tie to the edge of the bucket to stop the plant falling over in the loose coco. The bendy clips won't do that :)

    Noooooooooooooo!

I can see you guys have made your decision, and power to ya and thanks for the offer @Bud man 43  I recently saw a commercial, well respected legend weed grower in the forums find some mold, he corrected the environment and carried on, I believe this is the norm but each to their own :)

    Noooooooooooooo!

That's a pretty big call, I just pulled 2lbs, 2 different strains, Corinto and Ghost Train Haze that both had a few buds with rot, should I throw it away for the sake of a couple of moldy buds? That's a lot of time and effort and if you dry it PROPERLY what little mold gets missed turns to dust...

Should be sweet, be sure to keep close to 55%RH

    Noooooooooooooo!

I had some straight bud rot recently in a few flowers of Ghost Train Haze, I chopped the plants and trimmed and cut out the worst straight away and dried in trays over a week in an air flow box to 55%RH and bagged it. Looks good still after about 3 or 4 weeks and smokes good :) Was bud rot...

    Plants not looking great

Plants are looking good bud :D I think those little flies you saw last time might be fungus gnats, I get loads of them and the larvae eat the roots

    Terpenes getting lost in cure.

I don't squash the buds, just the excess air so there's still plenty of air just not a large void, works for me in my climate :) Cobbing is an accepted way of curing and MOST of the air is pressed/sucked out

    Terpenes getting lost in cure.

I found anything over 60 I eventually get mold or at least a musty smell. Maybe 62ish short term like a month or so...

    Terpenes getting lost in cure.

Basically the same but it's easier to squeeze the air out :P The bags are semipermeable, you can really smell the weed through it. I fill dark colored sealed plastic buckets with the bags of buds to keep the air gap minimal and keep in a cool closet or somewhere like that, comes out great and...

    Terpenes getting lost in cure.

They're probably really good but too much marketing BS for me, I just want the nuts and bolts! I'll stay with my large ziplock bags thanks :P

    Terpenes getting lost in cure.

I've given up on jars, the air gap is too big. I have better results in plastic ziplock bags but squeeze the air out before zipping up the last bit and then seal in plastic paint buckets in a coolish place. The stuff in the jars with an air gap turns to hay :)

    Help creating seeds on purpose

If you feel like doing some research and have the lights/space it would be good to know if there is a difference in viable pollen yield. Maybe your friend could try with HPS or CMH? Sounds like a good candidate :P

    Help creating seeds on purpose

Ah ok. back then they were trying to get the dosage right from the original post that might have been edited now. I see one of the guys has gone through and deleted all his posts too. Maybe the dosage is better so it doesn't make much difference about the lights. When the first post went up the...

    Help creating seeds on purpose

It wasn't all strains and it was quite a few years ago now when we were all talking about what worked best, different strengths and different time cycles etc. I had a quick look and the thread looks like it's been edited a bit, maybe now the method and strengths are sorted out it doesn't matter...

    Help creating seeds on purpose

The LED issue is for making viable pollen with certain strains using STS and CS. It was mentioned in a sentence about STS and the first half was omitted in the quote. Over on another website there's a lot of info and testing on it

    Help creating seeds on purpose

Do you want regular or fem seeds? How many seeds do you have and what strain is it and is it common? If you STS you can either self or use a sister plant for multiple selection and also LED lights are not preferred for viable pollen! If you have many seeds start by growing a few out and choose...

Best lights for 2x2 in 2024?

Another cheap one I have is the AGLEX 240W LED Grow Light from Amazon. The driver is remote so keeps the heat out and it has a dimmer, not sure it would fit a 2x2 though :) My Spider Farmer driver blew and it was cheaper to replace it with one off this than get an original Edit: I just checked...

    first grow looks very exauhsted

I just mean not to trim too much too soon because an auto can't be left longer on the veg cycle. You can always chop some more off if it stretches too much, sometimes more foliage helps get it bushy :) Depending on the strain you might want more red light too for a little stretch
