I'm an Indica guy through and through but I have a friend looking for a great Sativa to grow next (hes not on the interwebs much). Something thats relatively fast flowering and without a ton of stretch and then of course with a classic sativa high? Any recomendations? Thanks in advance.

Absolutely not. You have all this time in so might as well take it to the finish. You'll get some decent bud. Make some adjustments on the next run and keep moving forward.

I'd bet my life thats some sort of stem/root rot. I'm not sure at this point theres much you can do but start over.
