Perpetual SOG Experiment - Multi Genetics

Been busy. Things are still going along. Tweaked the way I was cloning and saw success, 3/3 2 cloned in perlite in modified gatorade bottles (cut them so the top could twist down into the bottom securely as a humidity dome). 10 days later, roots Cloned another in a shot glass from a...

    Cheese - Community Journal.

25 days old UK Cheese. Slow starter because I goofed the N. She was hungrier than expected. Threw out the 2 others. They were so runty compared to this one. Moved it from under 100w CFL to 300w HID.

Never heard of that one! Interesting…I wonder if they flood the water with growth hormone or something of that nature.

Perpetual SOG Experiment - Multi Genetics

Had a seed in a paper towel for almost 2 weeks, no tap root. Decided to change the paper towel and had my foliar spray nearby with humic acid and kelp + yucca added. Sprayed the paper towel with it. 11 hours later, tap root.

I do like the lamp a lot and had amazing results in the past. It can be less attractive depending on temps. That’s where LEDs really outshine MH.

Did a bit of house keeping in the 18/6 tent. Replaced the CFL fixture with 400w metal halide and dimmed to 50%. Was worried about temps because the inline fan is a cheapie, but all was well.

Perpetual SOG Experiment - Multi Genetics

Guava Fritter, started bloom nutes in foliar spray and JADAM FPJ (fermented plant juice) to soil feed. Next time I'll start as soon as plants go in 12/12 tent. She showed signs of being hungry but resolved as soon as I started bloom foliar spray. Picked up humic + fulvic acid, kelp + yucca...

It's such a weird thing to see haha. I guess I need to be more careful with pointing the tap root down :p

Guava Fritter liked the LST. Still dialing in nutes. Learning about VPD helped me understand why N was coming off heavy. Higher VPD = more frequent waterings and I add nutes each watering.

Perpetual SOG Experiment - Multi Genetics

Best video I've found explaining VPD. Glad I watched because I need to be careful with my nute mixes. And something relieving: "VPD is optimal over a very wide range...we go all the way to 4 in the field, and it's fine." Bruce Bugbee

New growth on clones but no roots  And I didn't go by them not showing through the peat...I removed one and checked the bottom. When I take clones I split the bottom with a razor two ways so it looks like a cross, vertical and horizontal cut in half. Idk if that allowed nutrient uptake...
