it all depends on how many watts of uva you plan on using what nm the diodes are and how spread out they are. personally with uva i run all day long.

yer of course the hps has less blue and there is no doubt that the lack of blue light in the hps spectrum is allowing the reder end of the spectrum to dominate causing elongation. but most led spectrums have a lot of red, more than sodiums its just they also have a huge spike of blue(too much)...

sounds like you have too much blue in your led spectrum for the particular cultivar you are growing. you are not getting any emerson effect from the hps, nor will it have more red than your led lights. hps is predominantly yellow/orange.

id go with the 600w zeus per 4x4, just because its a larger light with more bars so it will give more even coverage. you can always turn the 600w down but you cant turn the 465w up...

if you cant find a hlg-120h-48b you can use a hlg-120h-c1400b and wire the strips in series for 1400ma per strip.

if its a hlg-120h-48b it will be fine.

no it needs to be 48v.

obviously you could use any of these and dim to keep it in range but your just paying for unused watts.

a hlg-185h-48b will give on paper 1950ma per strip but maybe as much as 2100ma each. too much... a hlg-150h-48b will give on paper 1600ma per strip but maybe as much as 2000ma each. still a bit too much...

a hlg-120h-48b will give 1250ma per strip on paper, real reported figures will be closer to 1500ma per stip. a hlg-185 is too much...

ok so that is 48v per strip, i would probs get an hlg-150h-48B wire the strips in parallel for 75watt each. the strips have a max current of 1500ma, a hlg-150h-48b will give you just over that for each strip.

i know you know all this but ill reply anyway... yer the 435-440nm pump is good in some respects but that pump along with the phosphor coating the evo uses shifts the whole spectrum down the nm range (the phosphor peak on the evo is at 580nm and the peak on the standard 301h is around 600nm) so...

id take that as 90 watt max so you need a driver around 180watt. but first you need to know the forward voltage of the strips.
