My guess for the slow start is either too cold (try to keep right at 80 deg, 24/7) or too moist. You shouldn't need to spray 3 times per day.

I agree with 3 lb, but you should shoot for 4! Find a good yielder with hybrid vigor, use clones of it, and fill the canopy with budsites.

Kind of depends on how many seeds you want. If you want plenty of non-seeded bud in addition to some seeds just pollinate a side branch fairly early on, before too many pistils form. They say you need at least 6 weeks from pollination for viable seeds to form, but idk because I let my plants...

I suspect commercial ops with recirculating reservoirs treat their nutrient res more like a reef aquarium, and constantly keep track of the macro/micro nutrients and adjust.
