Well, as far as voltage increasing with current and diodes are what is in question, that would depend on the power supply/driver. Is it constant voltage, constant current, neither or both? I worked in the field and my database, which is published by Cree has slightly different numbers, there are...

Help with overcrowded and stretchy autos with no room left.

Try using a Zero Filter, it softens hard water. PPM meters actually measure the electrical conductance of the water and depending on whether the water is soft or not can make a huge difference, water softeners use sodium to alter the form of the magnesium and the calcium in the water and also...

I have looked at the light output curve of the Mars TS1000 and as I remember it is good for seedlings to young plants and flowering, It tends to the heavy side on the blue light, but that is better than not enough blue. Believe it or not, Cree's Horticulture series of LEDs doesn't include the CX...

There is a difference between distilled and reverse osmosis water, at least from a lab perspective. What is in your tap water that is so bad? Chlorine?

Mia culpa, I didn't realize you had 36V-chips. I wanted to say I really like the people on here so far and the whole feel of the site. Could you explain verticle scrogging to me, please? Lowering the current will run the chips cooler which will increase efficiency, but it is a function of...

    Anyone know what this is

I think it is too much Nitrogen or plant food, that can mimic light burn, it could be light burn if you are using a strong lensed light with a bad lens if it is just a few leaves it could be lensing. It really looks like overfeed to me though. It has been a long time since I grew, but it's all...

Are the leaves like that near a heat source or all over? What medium do you grow in?

I haven't grown in 40 years, but know a lot of science stuff. What exactly are you using distilled water for? It has no minerals, the only thing it would be good for is for adding moisture to the air.

More blue spectrum will keep the branches and leaves more tightly packed, too much red without enough blue and you'll get stringy plants that will just get taller and not produce a dense crop, you can also try to light from the sides. If stretching branches have leaves etc spaced far apart it's...

What has cannabis ever cured you from or of?

How true, same with GBL/GHB for sleep disorders.

What has cannabis ever cured you from or of?

I am VERY new here, but I have suffered from chronic pain for quite a while and can get medical marijuana if I want to pay the price they charge in NYS. I don't think it's as much about blocking the pain as it is taking your mind off of it. If you have lived with severe chronic pain for a long...

Those COBs can run at up to 1,800mA. Just wondering why run them at that low a current? Are you using 2 or 3 step COBs? I was also wondering about the size of your grow tent. Are those meters, yards, feet, the 3x3? I haven't grown in about 40 years, so forgive my ignorant questions, please. SO...

Just joined to answer a question I saw while browsing the web. Looks like a good group. I am going to start growing for the first time since the 1980s as I got my medical marijuana papers in NYS and it's kinda expensive here.

The difference is the size of the cob, there are so many other variables in the numbers that follow CBX 3?90 that the question is barely valid. There are 36 volt and 72 volt COBs, there are 12,000 lumens and down, lumens vary with the temperature of the COB/emitter/led, temp. also has a lot to...
