With heavy rains expected in 2 days here in Eastern Canada I will need to protect a number of plants from potential bud rot conditions... wondering what is the downside of putting a few plants into my shed for the day.... it has no light do they would be in darkness for about 24-30 hrs or so...

Living in NB here too and making plans for the big rain on Tuesday....

I will add that the plants at my sons site were 2 weeks ahead of plants in my yard. His site gets full sun all day....no shade at all. My yard cant boast of that at all.

Apparently not... just a week ago he says... chopped early as he started finding bud rot nearby. Hopefully it will be ok. It switched to flower the last week in July as I recall. ...so that's roughly 7 weeks. What is the downside I wonder? It will go mostly to making oil, maybe some to smoke.
