I don't know shit about shit but I'm not a fan of dead leaves making their way into the buds, seems like it would be an invitation for problems. I had this same problem with my last run and while there hasn't been a problem that I can attribute to the dead stuff I still don't like it.

Crazy I have nine of those in various seeding stages. Some are up a week or so and some a few days.

I don't know what the answer is for sure but I would be super comfortable either going with 24 hours of dark or just move the schedule up an hour a day if you don't like the 24 hours of dark plan.
