I'm in 5 gallon fabric pots, soil with dry amendments. They each can take about 5 to 6L every 2 days days. I've actually split that and hit them everyday with 2.5L. They're thriving! Good dry back daily, but not hydrophobic.

You can go as low as you want. I would suggest 6 to 8 inches depending on how you feed/water. You don't want it to tight*. *the space between the net and your pot.

I have the AC INFINITY 6inch setup with thier oversized filter no complaints.

You need to run a grow with it and see what it does. I'd imagine it would with the directions following the box. But the real data comes from an actual grow. Let's do this!
