Is it fair to say that the majority of people don't believe light leaks to be a major reason or contributor to hermie probs then? Or is this only a problem if growing from seed? I have grown clones myself without issues with light leaks as I often left vents open without problems. Thanks.

Yes Grojak I have recently had hermie issues two consecutive times, once with fems then with regs from seed. This was in a 1.2m2 using 400mh late veg/early flower then 600w hps which may have been my problem. I have noticed many leaks on the zips of the initial tent. I then used a different one...

Thanks hydrokid239 I have a spare tent which is slighty taller so I will try that. I have black and white sheeting but not trust it entirely.

I have yet to own a tent without the odd pinprick of light especially when the airflow is pulling the edge of tent inwards and distorting the original shape of the tent. I find the smaller 1.2m2 to have insufficient covers over the zip too.

Hi everyone just wondering if any of you use some kind of light proof sheet over your tents to help avoid light leaks during the dark period? Thanks.
