Seedling taking forever to grow & has weird looking first true leaves. What is the cause?

It's from lack of food I think. You waited 2 weeks almost before feeding. I think if you feed and PH correctly they should bounce back. I used to never feed seedlings for the first couple weeks which was never a problem in pro mix. But I noticed when switching to coco they need food almost...

Automation - DC current measuring device

Definitely cheaper ways to do. But this Can measure every single enviro input in one device and give you back the value as needed. I am sure there is a cheaper way with all sonoff or zigbee devices.

Automation - DC current measuring device

https://community.pulsegrow.com/t/api-and-home-assistant-config/1085/7 Setup home assistant based on the pulse grow data measurements like humidity. Then you use any home assistant compatible relay to send 24V to the quest and dimming signal to the LEDs

Automation - DC current measuring device

Also if you use a pulse pro grow room monitor you can also monitor and trigger random relays based on the values it outputs if you are savvy for home assistant setups.

Automation - DC current measuring device

Are you using seperate drivers for the diff colour channels? If so you can use if you use an environmental controller like Trolmaster you can definitely set this up when you hit certain temps dim this and turn that one. They have relays for that.

    DIY with Quantum Boards

You can order drivers from Digi-Key, Arrow, Mouser, future electronics or similar electronics suppliers. Prices are quite reasonable but shop around. Also octopart.com is cool for searching parts like drivers it will summarize all the prices and links to places that sell that part. If you need...

    New ACMPR build 19x25

That's a clever idea about dimming the lights to run the dehumidifier. However potentially it may not supply the dehumidification you are looking for because if you are running AC to cool the room then you will lose the dehumidification power of the AC while the lights are dimmed. so the quest...

    New ACMPR build 19x25

Thanks man that's very generous. Are you in the US or Canada? I saw Roxtec has a Canadian part on their site so I think I can source them here.

    New ACMPR build 19x25

Thanks Rocket! Means a lot coming from you. A lot of grow setups are done for the here and now, including many situations in my own room. I love planning out a grow for success though so I try to keep things grower friendly, like power kept as far as possible from any water, keeping equipment to...

    New ACMPR build 19x25

i use 2" ABS pipe mounted to the studs to give the cables something solid to pass the wall through. I left it up to the grower to plug it however he did. The Roxtec looks dope thanks for the link I'll definitely consider something like this next time

    New ACMPR build 19x25

Ya I get you about the single ballast vs double ballast. But I've seen the price of those high voltage contractors come way down and availability go up in the last couple of years since a lot of those are now used in electric vehicles. You don't get any more life out of the ballast but the...

    New ACMPR build 19x25

Thanks man. I just love keeping all the electrical stuff far from the plants (except the lights) keeps all cords and zappy stuff away from the grower as much as possible. I feel like the flip idea is underutilized. A lot of growers can be limited by the Amps they can bring in. And if you make...

    Led Users Unite!

Still a very good chip used on those strips. You can make pretty cheap configurations that are in the 2.7-2.8 umol/J range. Also I know for a fact they can handle good amount of abuse high currents on all the time.

DiY LEDs - How to Power Them

as far as I know there's no real limit on how low you can go with the amperage. But one thing I did notice with the Samsung calculator is that you can hit a point of such low amperage that it's actually less efficient than driving a little harder. I think at like half the nominal current it's...

Is there a small electric motor that winds and unwinds for bulb in a vertical set up?

Winches don't do well when they continuously work. They are only usually rated to run for around 1-2minutes before they want to overheat etc a light rail could be adapted to convert the horizontal movement into vertical you would probably have to put a weight in the cable down to the bulb to...

    Issues with Gavita 1700e

I make relay boxes so I can use something like the EL1 and their relay to trigger a whole line of lights. Usually split into 20A per line because it keeps cable costs down a bit, faster wire and less lights go out of service if there's a problem on one line. And you can trigger all the seperate...

DiY LEDs - How to Power Them

Your COB from the data sheet looks like it takes 52V at 1.8Amps nominal. The XLG 240H AB can do around 4.5a at 52V. Meaning if you run 3 cobs each would be getting 4.5a/3 = 1.5a each. if you add a 4th COB in parallel with the other 3 the drive current to each COB would be 4.5a/4= 1.125a each.
