Dude, get some rockwool cos oasis is no good. That is correct but water once a day to start with and use real weak nutes to start, say 1/4 strength cos the medium used in hydro contains no nutes whatsoever :)

I use digital timers from b+q with no trouble, they will power the contactor and that will power the light.

Get yourself a ph pen from ebay, real easy to use and not that expensive. Get some buffer 7 solution as well for callibration again real easy to do.

Yep, timers are screwed. The contactor has 2 plugs make sure you put the right one in the timer (it should be marked 'timer' :) ) the other plug goes into a normal outlet, most of the timers here in the uk that are rated for 13amps will weld the contacts together after switching on an hid lamp...

That light needs to be quite a bit higher than your flouros mate, set it at 24" and bring down over next couple days but watch out for heat stress.

D O = dissolved oxygen, the more D O in the water the better it is for roots as opposed to leaves which use co2 or carbon dioxide.

You can use any 240v timer but plug in a contactor rated for 10a or bigger and plug your light or whatever into that, that way you wont weld the contacts in your timer.

I use normal tap water aerated for 24 hrs and ph'd after adding nutes, has worked ok for me but i'm no expert as i've only done 2 grows in soil :)

With just 2 seeds i hope they dont turn out to be males, start with the light quite high and bring it closer over a few days to lessen the stress, they can take the light its the heat they wont like but the fan should help with that as well.

It will work fine but your yield will obviously be smaller, peeps who do do sog growing usually start flower around that size :)

Yes start at 1/4 strength of the recommended dose on the label. If it gives the strength as an ec or ppm on the label get yourself a nutrient strength meter to measure this it will make it easier to mix the same strength consistently.

Lights are 600w hps and are kept approx 2 to 2 1/2 foot away, i've moved the small clones to another room with a 600w mh on them at 3 feet away cos they only young and made a shelf with 4 36w tubes above for making more clones. i'll post some pics of that tomorrow. The other rooms had a shuffle...

Considering the start they had they look really good, keep doing what you are doing and they will be fine mate.
