Yea im going to have to purchase some new soil, is there anything that you recommend that keeps moisture and is great for growing??

Im germinating by soaking the seed in a water bottle and yeah i believe the soil may be the problem...Would covering my pot with a plastic bag to keep moisture work??

Not sure of the soil but it gets VERY VERY dryed out quick....

I wanna know what exactly you do after you germinate your seeds and place them in soil....Im realy getting fed up with this bullshit, ive tried it already with many seeds and they just will not pop through the soil, i dont know what the hell im doing wrong... Currently what im doing: 18/6...

Yea germinating isnt a problem but just getting the seedling coming through the soil is, i believe i was putting the seed to deep in the dirt...but i just planted a bean today and well see what happens

Exactly how far under the light, i have 2 of them under a 23(100)watt CFL about 5 inches....

Thanks for the info.....I guess im just going to place them under lights to generate heat and i might be planting them to deep in the soil...So im planting my 3rd seed as we speak and from here ill see how it goes...

Ok im having trouble with my seedling sprouting through the soil... Im germinating with the water bottle technique where you just palce the seeds in a cup filled with water and let them soak, and they usualy germinate within 24-36hrs with the root sticking out 1/6inch. Usualy i let it sit...

Yea an electriciton for an illegal grow op.....but i think they were just cheap CFLS.... It cant be the wiring cause its only The Hot, Neutral, Ground so it doesent take a genious to figure that out....or were you talking about the CFL wiring not the circuit for the fixture??? lol

The Other Bulbs worked fine....So its gotta just be defective bulbs...

The 2 blubs that were acting up were the Cool Whites CFL's which i purchased i home depot but the Warm White CFL's are working fine with no problems....I believe the bulbs are defective... And What i ment when i pick it up was when i take the bulb out of the socket the glass part is very loose...
