    the slowest drying method

I wondered about that, too. Maybe sealed jars in the fridge instead of the freezer? Toss some dry rice in the bottom to absorb excess moisture? If just hanging them for 2 weeks I wouldn't trim anything at all. Just chop at the base and hang the whole plant, leaves and all. I'd assume that'd...

    the slowest drying method

For the record, I've never done the freezer thing but it seems like a reasonable process. And bLunteDDDD makes good points. Update us when you decide on your process and how it turns out.

    the slowest drying method

Don't chop. Water them before you leave and then just let them naturally die and dry in the pots. If you must chop then I'd put them in the freezer and dry them when you return. Best of luck.

What's your watering schedule with Coco?

I water (and feed) daily in coco all the way through. Treat it like hydro and you'll get hydro growth. (ie. HUGE) Treat it like soil and you'll get soil growth. 2¢

    Plants Alongside Cannabis

I mainly grow a variety of hot peppers but also tomato and various herbs such as cilantro and basil. It's all good. And no, growing side by side does not make one plant taste like another! LOL

How do u no if its done without a magnifying glass?

It's your bud. Experiment with it a bit and see what you prefer. IME you get much better flavor, aroma and potency (and not just couchlock) from ripe buds, same as other fruit, vegetables or flowers. (cannabis is a just plant after all)

    Water Curing Buds; For Dummies

Yeah, it'll look kind of gross while submerged. No worries, though. That's how it's supposed to look. No need to panic. It'll look a bit strange from now on, even after dry. I used 2 plastic ice cream buckets nested together. The top bucket has holes drilled in it. (it's been used for growing...

How do u no if its done without a magnifying glass?

Cannabis has been harvested for hundreds of years without microscopes. There's more to it than just looking at the color of the trichs. Learn to read your plants. Here's an example and an excellent read. Best of luck. https://www.rollitup.org/harvesting-curing/210501-zeuss-take-harvesting.html

water curing??? i like to put the nuggs in my.........................

The buds I used were early so it was a bit racy. THC is not water soluble so you don't lose any potency. Buds look like hell, though. You'll lose some plant matter and overall weight but no THC so technically the remaining bud is a bit stronger/higher THC % per weight. The water cleans all the...

water curing??? i like to put the nuggs in my.........................

I had a branch break off a flowering plant recently so I water cured it. It pretty much removes all flavor and aroma. I can see how that might be handy for stealth public smoking but it's definitely not my preference for the majority of my buds.

    12/12 from seed?

I'm nearing the end of my first 12/12 grow, using bagseed in 1G smart pots, coco, Lucas formula. They were started around 04/01 or so under mixed spectrum T5 for a few weeks then moved to 400w hps. Trichs are clear to cloudy but I'm going to let them go til they're done, a la Zeus. I've had to...

I love it! Everyone's looking great. I'll keep an eye out for the next round. I vote 12/12 from seed next time. It's simple and it helps keep the overall time down a bit.

Super Lemon Haze - DWC vs Coco, lucas formula vs lucus formula plus additives

Hey, I'm looking forward to this one. I'm a big coco/Lucas fan. I've considered additives but I'm happy with my current results so I have a difficult time justifying adding more stuff/cost/complexity. I've got a couple hydro systems sitting unused in the basement, too, but again, I'm happy...

    Zeus's Take on Harvesting

Just bumping this one up to say thanks. I've got 4 beautiful girls that I've been getting anxious to chop, checking the scope daily. But after reading this I've completely changed my mind. I've been a gardener since childhood so comparing to fruit, vegetables and especially flowers really makes...
