i think my lighting is good. i am in a closet and its about 5 x 5...i have three shop lights with two long tubes in them each putting off 1150 lumens, then i have 6 CFL bulbs putting off 1650 lumens each.

i am using one that was 15 bucks, got it from lowes. it has a long metal probe that tests the pH and the moisture in the soil, seems ok

I am using MGRO moisture control, pH is 6.4, I use a meter to determine if it needs water, so its not being under or over watered. was planted on 7/8

so i bought a pH probe tool from Lowe's. It seems to work good in the soil but when I test my h20 before i water the plants it doesnt seem accurate. if i hold the probe towards the top of the container with h20 the pH reading is 7 but when i put the probe deeper in the watering can it goes...

So the pH of my water is to acidic its 4.5-5. I looked on here about how to adjust the pH of the water and I found to add baking soda. I did this and added quite a good amount to 1 gallon of water and the acidity is not changed. Any suggestions? Thanks!

so if i started to flower them now, you say they will double in size and bud but it wont be that much cuz the plant is smaller?

its in miracle gro moisture control and perlite. I water once a day in the morning. yes its in a cup with proper drainage. thanks

im confused by some of the comments in this thread. I use two shop lights which hold 2 tube lights each so a total of 4. Each light put off 2000 lumens and is 6500 K color. So thats 8000 lumens and I have about 5 plants all under 4 lights in a row...is this ok? and sorry to ask a question in a...

Hi one of my sprouts started off well and the two first leaves were fine. Now it has gotten a bit bigger ( 2 inches tall) and the first leaves wilted and turned yellow but the top leaves are healthy and green but now the middle small leaves are starting to turn bright yellow. ?
