not nearly as efficient as solar, how many days do you go outside and really realize its windy vs noticing the sun is out lol, dont waist your time, your going to build your windmill for $100 and have to buy batteries to hold the charge at $2000 + probably(dont quote me im guessing) solar all...

dude all you need for a bigger hydro system is trays, pvc pipe, and spaghetti pipe, set your trays on top of your rez and watch the water just run back down, voila brother you could run an infinite amount of plants like that, a $40 pump could prob feed at least 60 plants, maybe more
