I have some stressed plants in my flood table that I think might have root rot. They are in starter plugs put in 2" net cups then put in hydroton. How can I use SM-90 to treat root rot WITHOUT taking the plants out to check the roots?? Moving therm around is what got me here I think. Rez temps...

Ok thanks, but how do I determine release rates? And how would I match them so not to make my plants suffer?

So it seems there's 2 ways to do soil? One is to just make a mix that has little to no nutes in it, then you feed nutes when you water? The other is to mix the nutes into the soil at the beginning, and then you just have to water? Does that last the entire grow? Is it possible to mix in too...

That round thing with the threaded bit on the end is a Capacitor. I'm not sure why it has a threaded bit like that. I also don't like how they ship the fan without the little screws or clamp/cover for where the wire pass through to secure them to the fan. Anyways, I have a 2 wire indoor...

Isn't it key to put a layer of hydroton up to like a 1/2" below the maximum flood height, then place your starter plug on top and then fill the tray with more hydroton until the plug is covered and the plant is just sticking up?

Which one, the Tek 4(220w) or Tek 2(110w)? The Tek 4 is 24"x24" so it's a tight fit, but would give you great light coverage. If you could keep temps and humidity under control I think it's perfect. Both are great bang for your buck...and those PLL-55 bulbs are bright! better than the straight...

I'm on my first grow, 9 seedlings on their way...but I kinda fucked them early on. Hopefully they'll pull through. They are going to be my moms, then cloning them for outdoor this summer. Did you end up growing them?

I can tell you that the HTG Tek 4 was too much light. Temps fluctuated up to 30c and down to 20c, humidity also hung around 30%. Luckily I was able to remove 2 bulbs(now 110w) and that helped a bunch. Temps now hang around 22-25 but humidity still dropped to 40% so I had to add a humidifier. I...
