If I leave my lights on for an extra 8 hours but really low so I can reset my light cycle, will I accidently cause my plants to flower?

I put one of those wifi cameras on top of my 47 inch tower fan. It's pretty cool to see your grow area when you're not there but swiveling.

Building a light right now, first one where I got all the separate supplies myself. I am using angled aluminum to mount my lights on. If I wrapped all the metal parts in electric tape would it have any benefit, I am not an electrician. :(

The other three aren't, when I transferred one of them to a 3 gal, its roots were developed but not rootbound although that ones an indica so idk different standard. I don't see any roots poking thru.

1 gallon fabric pot, its about 8 inches tall altho i trained it so it should be taller

Mostly thinking of flowering an indica, leaving the bud site to hermie and after putting another into flower so that it gets pollinated right before the hermie plant dies or whatever

So I hear if I let a female flower and leave some bud sites and harvest without chopping, then put another plant into flower the first plant with hermie and produce fem seeds. Does it work just like that?
