I think the best way to go for you is vertical growing. Then you can get alot more weed for the space and cash used. With some ingenuity and a hack saw you can adapt your 250w hps to fit inside a 4" glass or polycarbonate tube. (I'm assuming that cash is an issue here and you can't afford to buy...

What was your flowering time? Considering buying these and they advertise 6-8 weeks. Was going to go for AK-48, but from the reviews its sound like it will be too stinky while growing, and too tall for my needs.

Dude... Don't use fem'ed plants as mothers, they are genetically unstable after 1 or 2 generations.

If we're gonna get a bit technical, 6.5-6.8 is what you want for veg (nitrogen more absorbable) and 5.8-6.2 for flowering (K and P more absorable).

Its all well and good messuring whats going into the soil, but you can get a build up over time, so it is worth messuring what comes out the bottom and adjust your pH of the feed accordingly... Also, you want more like 6-6.5 pH. And white walls (matt) are ok, biut mylar will give you 10% more...
