thank you all for the replies... Yes they are 4 different containers for 4 diff plants. All in soil (miracle grow). 6 qt containers. from the way it looks, i'll need to transplant them ... into 2 gallon containers. If 1 gallon for every foot of growth is true, then a 2 foot mother should...

I have a bunch of plants in a 6 qt containers... Can a plant mature fully in such a container? Or MUST it be transferred to a 3 gallon pot??? I'm trying to conserve space . My plan is to keep them in 6 qt containers and leave them there as mothers... then clone and grow them...

Hello. This might seem like a stupid question but (if I put my plants outside, and throughout the day, a shadow comes over them... are they still receiving light??) I mean.. it's not like they are in complete darkness! Just because there is shade, does that mean they're receiving ZERO...

Thanks for the update! I wonder how much bushier, stronger the plants might be if a 400 Watt HPS was hanging over them. Did you figure out if the machine would still work if the hood and lights were removed? Best!

Teknique... thank you so much for doing all this and letting us follow your progress... i was wondering if another suggestion might work... for example: after vegetative stage, remove the fluroescent lights and suspend some HPS over the plants... Is the hood removable to accomplish this?
