There are a few whitefly in the area, but they aren't really prevalent on my plant. I don't know if I want to spray with pesticide, I want to keep it organic. I cleaned the bottoms of the major fan leaves by hand hopefully it will deter the bugs.

That is grown from seed right? Those are the set of leaves first emitted by seedlings after they germinate. They are used to find light that establishes the first set of true leaves. It is normal, at least in my experiences, for them to yellow up and die off after the plant has a few leaf sets...

Outdoors as in the ground? It sounds to me like you have a pretty well mixed medium. As long as you are maintaining a nice green color I wouldn't worry about adding anything more to the soil. If you are in pots you may flush the nutrients out after a while but that usually takes a long time...
